The Consultant and Business Management Research Association (CBMRA) is the apex body of management consulting and research professionals in Malaysia, being the only registered with The Registry of Society, Malaysia. The Executive Secretariat of CBMRA is located in Kuala Lumpur.
CBMC CERTIFICATION and CBMR
CBMRA endeavours to raise the standards of management consulting and business research by awarding Certified Business Management Consultant (CBMC) and Certified Business Management Researcher (CBMR) designation to individual members who have passed a qualifying assessment process and have met the profession’s standards of competence and ethics. The certification follows the International Standards by adopting TR 45 Management Consultant Standard and ISO 20700 Guidelines for Management Consultant Standard
The Management Consulting and Research Industry and the Profession
The consulting and research industry in Malaysia is one of the most professional in the world. It ranks with the world’s best in specific research and consulting areas – medical, agriculture, tourism, the industrial revolution, financial strategy, privatization, human talent development strategy, mobile strategy, governance, service quality, behavioural economics and others. The industry of business services occupied 9.4% of the GDP in Malaysia (Q4, 2019). From the Malaysia vital statistic, there is an excellent opportunity in the area of consulting and business management research.
The profession of management consulting is self-regulated. One of the objectives of the Consultant and Business Management Research Association is to continue to upgrade the level of professionalism to exceed the global standards. To achieve a high level of standard, CBMRA has adapted the United Kingdom Professional Code of Conduct for consultant and adopted ESOMAR International Code of the market and Social and Research and Data Analytics to formulate one of the world most robust examination programs for certifying consultants and researchers, so that achieve international standard. In the certification process, we have external examiners and panel of examiners to maintain the high-quality standard of the certification.
CMBRA an Overview
The Consultant and Management Business Research Association (CMBRA) is the professional body and qualifying body for management consultants and research internationally. CBMRA aims at setting and maintaining high standards of quality, independence, objectivity, and integrity for consultant and researchers originating abroad.
The aims of the association are to enhance the practising standards of management consultants, researchers and the confidence to the clients about research and consultancy services in the world. CBMRA is the awarding body of the Certified Business Management Consultants (CBMC) and Certified Business Researcher (CBR), recognised by the United Nations and in over 50 countries around the world. CBMRA will create a platform to get all members and consulting professional, and researchers worldwide stay connected through various activities organised and professional development programs throughout the year.
