Type of Membership
Choose the membership type that best fits you.
Malaysian
A Professional Membership is a practising or potential management consultant or researcher, who agrees to subscribe to the CMBRA Code of Ethics. The professional member is only for Malaysian. International applicant, please refer to CBMRA International Member. Applicants must provide evidence of at least one of the criteria listed below:
- Minimum of one year’s experience as a consultant to management or conduct independent research.
- At least five-years experience in management or research.
- At least five years experience in a technical or professional speciality.
- Publish a paper in an indexed journal
- Masters Degree in Business or related field (e.g., MBA ).
- Currently pursuing your graduate studies in research mode.
Benefits: Professional members receive the full benefits of the association.Dues: Annual dues are RM200 (pro-rated quarterly for first time members) plus an RM300 application fee. Join as a Professional Member now.

A Student Membership is a full-time college or university student who has an interest in research and management consulting and supports the objectives of the Institute. The reduced-rate Student Membership is for students in good standing who are actively studying at an Accredited University or College, may become management consultants, and who agree to abide by the CBMRA Code of Ethics.
Student members may continue at the student rate for 12 months immediately after graduation. Student members do not actively pursue consulting clients.Dues: Annual dues are RM150. No application Fees required. Join as a Student Member now.

International
A Professional International Membership is a non-Malaysian member. The applicants must provide evidence of at least one of the criteria listed below:
- Minimum of one year’s experience as a consultant to management or conduct independent research.
- At least five-years experience in management or research.
- At least five years experience in a technical or professional speciality.
- Publish a paper in an indexed journal
- Masters Degree in Business or related field (e.g., MBA ).
- Currently pursuing your graduate studies in research mode.
Benefits: Professional International Members enjoy all the benefits like Professional CBMRA Members.
Dues: Annual dues are $200 (pro-rated quarterly for first time members) and require no application fee. Join as CBMRA International Member.

Life Membership
The Life Membership is only by invitation. The membership is specially designed for those members who have significantly contribute to CBMRA. Hence, the membership is a token of appreciation for members.
Benefits: Life Members enjoy all the membership of other categories. Dues: Annual dues are RM1000 and require no application fee.

Membership Development Progress For Student Members
Student members who had successfully completed the Institute’s Graduate Certificate in Management Consultancy (GCMC) Programme can proceed to apply for Professional membership, subject to satisfying the membership requirements
